Capital Cup: Sports Festival

Washington, DC has one of the most extensive local networks of LGBTQ+ sports teams and leagues in the world. Under the umbrella of Team DC, each of these leagues — their athletes, administrators, and volunteers numbering over 7,000 — are working together to create a multi-day Sports Festival for WorldPride DC 2025.

Current planned sports: Ballroom Dancing, Basketball, Billiards, Bocce, Bowling, Curling, Darts, Dodgeball, Flag Football, Golf, Pickleball, Rockclimbing, Rowing, Rugby (Men’s), Rugby (Womnen’s), Running, Sailing, Soccer, Swimming (IGLA Championships 2025 confirmed.), Tennis, Volleyball, Water Polo.
