Spring Homeschool Day at Mount Vernon

Homeschooling families are invited to spend the day at Mount Vernon, as they learn about George Washington, the British Empire, and the outbreak of the American Revolution in the spring of 1775.

An educator from the Museum of the American Revolution will share how George Washington used ribbon sashes and cockades to differentiate between the officer ranks.
